Care instructions:
- Wipe Clean with a Damp Cloth: To remove surface dirt and dust from suede, use a damp cloth to clean the suede without saturating it.
- Avoid Cleaning Agents: Do not use any cleaning agents or chemicals on suede unless they are specifically designed for suede cleaning. Other cleaning products can potentially damage the suede’s texture and colour.
- Use a Specialist Suede Brush: To remove dirt and marks that can’t be wiped away with a damp cloth, use a specialist suede brush. Suede brushes have soft bristles that help lift dirt and restore the suede’s nap (the raised fibre’s).
- Allow to Dry Naturally: If your suede item gets wet, allow it to dry naturally at room temperature. Avoid placing it directly near a heat source, such as a radiator or heater, as this can cause the natural skin to dry out and potentially crack.
- Pack the item with newspaper or a shoe tree: This helps it retain its shape while drying.
